Crédit Agricole publishes new edition of its Climate Strategy

The Crédit Agricole Group has updated and published its Climate Strategy in its third edition, spanning 184 pages.

The magazine-style publication provides an overview of the Group’s activities, results and commitments for the period through 2030. It focuses on eleven countries across ten key economic regions, including Germany.

Interview on Crédit Agricole CIB’s contribution to the energy transition in Germany

The chapter on Germany, on pages 66 to 72, begins by addressing the energy transition and the goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2045. Frank Schönherr, Senior Country Officer Germany & Austria, and Robert Vielhaber, Director Sustainable Banking Germany, both from Crédit Agricole CIB, then explain in a joint interview how the unit supports Germany’s goals and contributes to the energy transition.

The publication also provides numerous concrete examples and insights into a real, complex and global transformation, underscoring the conviction that change will succeed if it is tackled from all sides and in all regions.
